Mounted Skate Warranty Policy

Who is covered:

This warranty is extended to the original end-use purchaser or the person receiving the product as a gift, and shall not be extended to any other person or transferee.

What is covered/For how long*:

All mounted skates purchased through www.moxiskates.com, including and limited to Moxi boots which are mounted in-house at www.moxiskates.com are warrantied by Moxi Roller Skates to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal and intended use for a period of 6 months from the date of retail purchase by the original end-use purchaser. Warranties for attached components will be determined on a case-by-case basis as the process of attaching the components to a custom setup can modify manufacturer warranties. 

Plates or other components purchased after-market and mounted by a party other than Moxi Roller Skates may not qualify for warranty services.

* Note: If you purchase mounting services and are providing your own components for mounting, Moxi Roller Skates may not be held liable for any issues deemed to have been caused by those components. Moxi Roller Skates will not warranty any parts not purchased through Moxiskates.com and will only issue warranty coverage for defects deemed to have been caused by faulty mounting.

What is not covered:

This warranty does not cover product failure resulting from improper fit, accident, abuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear, as determined by Moxi Roller Skates. Moxi Roller Skates will not be responsible for the repair, replacement, or consequential damage due to the above-mentioned causes.

This warranty does not cover post-sale service costs, including but not limited to plate mounting and bearing installation.

What you must do to Obtain Warranty Service:

If you purchased directly from www.moxiskates.com, please contact us at 562-471-6256 or email cs@moxirollerskates.com for a return label and specific return/shipping instructions.

What we will do:

During the warranty period, Moxi Roller Skates will, at our sole option, repair or replace any products determined to be defective within a reasonable period of time and free of charge.

All repaired or replaced products under this policy shall be, at the discretion of the original end-user purchaser, returned to the original end-use purchaser from whom the product was purchased via ground service shipping at the expense of Moxi Roller Skates.

Products returned that are not found to be defective or products returned beyond the warranty period that can be repaired can be done so upon the approval original end-use purchaser. Repair costs, including post-sale services, will be provided to the original end-use purchaser by Moxi Roller Skates before any repair is made. Prior to any repair being made, Moxi Roller Skates must receive authorization from the original end-use purchaser as to all requested repairs. All freight expenses for such products, repairs and/or post-sale services shall be the responsibility of the user.

What we will not do:

For any claimed defective product, Moxi Roller Skates will not be responsible for any inbound shipping, insurance or transportation charges, or any import fees, duties, and taxes.
