The history of Roller-Skate trick names is difficult to find since most freestyle tricks performed in bowls and on ramps happened before the internet. Since our trick names come from roller skating, skateboarding and inline skating, it can sometimes get confusing! Since the modern roller skate has new components, like slide blocks and embraceable toe stops. That's why we wanted to create a resource for skaters to learn the terminology so that roller skaters never see a trick and wonder "Wow- what the heck is that called!?" We're kicking it off with grind and slide tricks! This guide is ever-growing and ever-changing, so we appreciate your feedback and questions!
